Beat the Heat Day 2

Boho Braids to Crimpy
This hairstyle is pretty simple. Begin with damp hair and spray a little leave in conditioner. Section hair into several pieces. Braid each section and tie off with a ponytail holder. Go to bed and take out the braids in the morning.
Run your fingers through the braids to separate the strands. Put a little pomade all over to help piece the hair and smooth fly aways. *Optional* Run a flat iron through large sections of hair to soften the crimps.

Beat the Heat: Day 1

Bun Curls to Beach Waves

Materials needed:
comb
bobby pins

Begin with damp hair. If your hair is too wet, your style will take a long time to dry. Part your hair where you want it to be when the look is finished. Section hair into four equal sections. Beginning as close to the scalp as you can, twist your first section. Coil the twisted hair into a mini bun and secure with a bobby pin or two. Repeat on the next three sections.
Go to sleep, clean the house, etc.

When mini buns are completely dry, take them out and separate the pieces. Run a smoothing cream through the ends and touch up any needed pieces with a curling iron. Voila!
